Amorph Systems: wireless alarm control at Munich Airport.

Amorph Systems deployed a wireless alarm-control system at Munich Airport using Flic Smart Buttons. Wired infrastructure is hard to install in airports — space and regulatory constraints kill most options. Going wireless on Flic met every requirement, and after a year of operation the system has not generated a single support request.

The Constraint

Wired alarm panels were not an option.

In an airport environment, installing wired hardware is hard or impossible — physical space is restricted, regulatory approvals are slow, and access to the correct cable runs is often denied. The system needed to be wireless from end to end, and it needed to be reliable enough to ship in a Tier 1 airport.

  • verified Restricted physical space and access
  • verified Regulatory constraints on wired installation
  • verified Tier 1 airport reliability requirements
  • verified No bespoke infrastructure permitted
A wide cinematic photograph evoking the constraints of a complex operational environment.
The integration was seamless, we were able to go wireless and meet all our requirements.
